Girl Scouts Project Gold Award
Currently, Iām working towards my Girl Scout Gold Award and am building a little library outside the Christopher House Uptown location. As part of my eighty hours of service towards a sustainable project, I am visiting the preschool, assisting in classrooms and speaking with students, parents, students, and administrators. I have been a Girl Scout since third grade, having completed my Silver Award the summer before freshman year, so now I am excited to take my commitment as a scout further through this larger project.

Wilmette Public Library
These past two years, I have spent part of my summer working as a teen volunteer at the Wilmette Public Library. Here, I have helped younger children learn to read, assist in library-sponsored programs, managed desk inquiries, managed shelving, and promoted community engagement.
